This Privacy Policy applies to the ari4dne website and to all applications published by ari4dne, including those distributed through the Microsoft Store.

This Privacy Policy describes the policies of ari4dne (“we”, “us”, “our”) regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information in connection with the ari4dne website (the “Site”) and the software applications we publish, including BLEam (each, an “App”). “Personal Information” means any information that identifies, or can reasonably be linked to, an individual.
By using the Site or an App, you agree to the handling of information in accordance with this Policy.
We do not collect, store, sell or share Personal Information through the Site or the Apps.
The Site does not use cookies or similar technologies, analytics, tracking or advertising technologies, or embedded third-party content, and does not provide forms or accounts. As with any website, the infrastructure that serves the Site may generate standard request logs, which include IP addresses. We do not collect, access, retain or use this information.
The Apps process information locally on your device. The Apps do not contain analytics or crash-reporting software and do not transmit any information to us or to third parties.
BLEam reads your Microsoft Teams presence status locally on your device for the sole purpose of setting the color of a Bluetooth light, and communicates only with that light, over Bluetooth. BLEam does not sign in to your account and does not access the content of your messages, calls, meetings or calendar.
The Apps are distributed through the Microsoft Store. Microsoft processes information necessary to conduct its transactions, including purchases and refunds, in accordance with the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Microsoft may make available to us aggregated, non-identifying information, such as install figures and, where you have enabled optional diagnostic data in Windows, anonymous crash reports. We use this information solely to maintain and improve the Apps, and do not sell or share it.
Support is provided through public issue trackers on GitHub, in accordance with the GitHub Privacy Statement. Information you submit there is public. Please do not include Personal Information in any submission.
The Site and the Apps are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of Personal Information held about you, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. As we do not hold Personal Information, there is none to access, correct, transfer or delete. Information processed by an App remains on your device and may be removed by uninstalling the App.
The Apps are designed to keep information on your device. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, as indicated by the “Last updated” date. If we make any material change, we will place a prominent notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site or an App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
